AMES, Iowa – Iowa State hosted the 2017 NCAA Cross Country Midwest Regional on Friday, Nov. 10 at the ISU Cross Country Course. The automatically advancing teams to the NCAA Cross Country Championships were Iowa State and Oklahoma State for both the men's and women's competitions. To see the full results, see below.

The teams will be competing for spots at the NCAA Cross Country Championships a week later, with the women’s 6K beginning at 10:45 a.m., and the men’s 10K starting at 11:45 a.m.

10:45 a.m. - Women's 6K Championship Race
11:25 a.m. - Men Called to Start

Immediately Following Men's Race, the top men's and women's teams will be recogznied

Directions to Course
From Interstate 35 (both North and South) take Exit 111B onto Highway 30 West. Take Exit 146, and continue right onto University Ave. Take a left onto Mortensen Pkwy. Turn right onto Hayward Ave., and the course will be on the left. Parking is available on the street of Hayward Ave., and in Lots 61A and 61B. Please see the parking map, here.

Mandatory Coaches' Meeting
Coaches are required to attend the mandatory coaches' meeting on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Sukup Endzone Club of Jack Trice Stadium. Failure to attend the mandatory coaches' meeting will result in a $200 fine/gender/institution. Directions from the course are here. Coaches and staff can park in lot S2 or S3.

Entry Procedures
Institutions must submit an NCAA official online entry roster form through DirectAthletics prior to the Regional Cross Country Championships. The entry form will be available beginning on Monday, Oct. 30, and will close on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. (Central). For all information regarding entries, please visit DirectAthletics, here.

Team parking will be along the curb on Hayward Ave., and in Lots 61A and 61B, which are accessible via Welch Ave. All fan parking will be in Lots 61A and 61B.
